We seek motivated young high potential individuals that want to take on the challenge of broadening their knowledge base with the aim of innovating the way we see and handle the materials market today. The programme is ideal for students who are fascinated by materials technology and interested in environmental and socio-economic factors.

Create an Account

Choose an email that you can use for communication throughout the admissions process, you will also need to register a username and password. Use this username and password to log into the admissions portal.

Register your Preferences

Once registered you can log onto the admissions portal with the username and password that you have registered, create a masters or summer school application using the apply section of the admissions portal.

Monitor your Application Status

Follow the progress of your application, check its current state and see communication regarding the application progress using the dashboard part of the admissions portal, click on individual applications to check status.

Study and explore Europe

Explore university life at the various partner locations available on the SINReM programme.

Choose a course

Choose a course to stimulate innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership and focus on circular (eco)design, materials substitution, life cycle engineering and circular economy design, materials processing and recycling, manufacturing, and innovation. Choose two different institutions, an internship in a company and a master thesis in collaboration with a company.

Masters in Sustainable Materials

The SINReM master programmes aim to train tomorrow’s industrial engineers in collaborative work in a global world and gather some of the best educational programmes in the field of sustainable materials engineering in Europe.

Summer School

We invite researchers from academia and industry who want to go beyond the technical aspects of research and who want to discover how a great idea can evolve to an actual product or service in society. Bachelor and Master students, and PhD and postdoctoral researchers who want to broaden their view with an economic, environmental, social, industrial and commercial perspective.
