The application for the SINReM programme is processed through the application portal of Ghent University and Embedded in the International Training Centre of the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering at Ghent University.

Information about legalization of your diploma
Different countries need different legalizations (list of legalizations per country)
We accept no exceptions due to fraud.
- Belgian Embassy
Legalize an English copy of your diploma at a Belgian Embassy in your country (see page 2 document).
Obtain an original apostille seal on a English copy of your diploma at the appropriate authorities (see page 1 document).
- Certified Copy
A certified true copy means: an English copy of your diploma that was certified by the awarding university (with stamp or signature) or by a power of law (notary) (see page 3 document)
Scholarship selection process
To award the fee waivers and scholarships, all students will be ranked based on evaluation of their application by a SINReM scholarship selection committee. To set up the scholarship ranking this selection committee can take into account not only previous achievements, motivation (including entrepreneurial spirit) and references, but also scientific background of the applicants, as the SINReM programme aims to work on multidisciplinary projects with a diversity of students having different backgrounds. Successful candidates who been granted academic admittance will receive a letter of admission, signed by the Registrar of Ghent University, in the name of the SINReM consortium. All students will be notified of their academic admission by receiving a Letter of Admission.
Scholarship nominees are announced on April 1st.
